1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of [Your Law Firm’s Name] ("the Firm"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Legal Representation

2.1. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Accessing this website or contacting the Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship will only be established through a signed agreement between you and the Firm.

2.2. Scope of Services
The Firm provides legal services related to bankruptcy law, including Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, debt counseling, and related services. The specific scope of services will be detailed in the engagement letter provided once an attorney-client relationship is established.

3. Confidentiality

3.1. Client Confidentiality
The Firm is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all communications with clients in accordance with applicable laws and attorney-client privilege rules.

3.2. Non-Confidential Information
Any information provided by potential clients prior to the formation of an attorney-client relationship will not be treated as confidential unless otherwise agreed.

4. Fees and Billing

4.1. Consultations
Initial consultations may be offered at no charge, but this will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Fees for services will be outlined in the engagement letter.

4.2. Fee Structure
The Firm charges for its services based on a combination of flat fees, hourly rates, and/or contingency fees, depending on the nature of the legal matter. Detailed fee structures will be provided in writing prior to the commencement of any work.

4.3. Retainers
A retainer may be required for certain legal services. The retainer will be deposited in a trust account and billed against as work is performed. Any unused portion of the retainer will be returned at the conclusion of the representation.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to provide accurate and complete information relevant to their bankruptcy case, including financial records, assets, debts, and any other information required by law. Failure to do so may result in adverse consequences, including dismissal of your bankruptcy case.

6. Disclaimer of Guarantees

The Firm does not guarantee any specific outcome in a bankruptcy case or any legal matter. While the Firm will provide competent legal representation, the outcome of a case depends on a variety of factors, many of which are beyond the Firm’s control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the services provided. The Firm’s liability will be limited to the fees paid for the specific legal service.

8. Termination of Services

Either the client or the Firm may terminate the attorney-client relationship at any time, subject to applicable laws and rules of professional conduct. Upon termination, the client will remain responsible for payment of fees for work completed up to the date of termination.

9. Communication

The Firm will communicate with clients primarily through email, phone, and in-person meetings. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the Firm has current and correct contact information.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state of [Your State]. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved in accordance with the laws of that jurisdiction.
